NCAA Initial-Eligibility Requirements for Student Athletes
WELCOME STUDENT ATHLETES!
Students interested in pursuing Division I/ Division II athletics are strongly encouraged to access the links listed below. Contained within these links are the essential academic requirements needed in high school, in order to participate in NCAA Division I/Division II athletics. All essential information can be found on the eligibility center NCAA website where high school student-athletes are required to register by the end of the 10th grade year!!! You know you are on the correct website when you see the image below.

Any student athlete entering Division I, Division II, or Division III Athletics must meet these Requirements.

In order to determine your academic status, NCAA will use the following worksheet to calculate your GPA for NCAA-approved courses.

Lastly, a link listing all approved High School South courses which meets NCAA requirements has been provided here. It is extremely important that you take courses at East Stroudsburg High School South which meet your NCAA requirements if you want to be eligible.
